Blade sharpening machine modification

This machine is used to sharpen the blade of log cutting machine in plywood company.
Previously this machine is in an unserviceable condition. I modified the machine's control circuit in to a fully automated system.

Knitting machine maintenance

During these New Year holidays I finished my latest job, knitting machine maintenance. We had 60 knitting machines for maintenance. I used two skilled technicians and three Electricians for this job. They worked according to my instructions and guiding. At this job my challenge was to hand over the machines within 4 days to the company and to do the maintenance without any damage to the machines and its’ process. I am happy to tell that I have a good team & we completed this job within 3 days.

Rubber Gloves making plants modification

Previously I was working in Gloves making company.  There were two types of rubber gloves making plants, one is Chain plant & the other one Dipping plant.  I did some modifications for both of these plants.  My target was to reduce down time by reducing breakdown frequency while providing safety to the formers. 

Fristly I examined the frequent downtimes to find out their causes.  And then I identyfied the most
frequent places where down times occur in the plant.  I applied safety sensors by doing some modifications of control circuit to identify the fault just before it happens.  This helps the technican to
identify the fault & take corrective measures withing few minutes.  So the regular breakdown of about 2 to 3 hours with the mechanical & former damages could be avoided.

Hi there,

I'm Indika Wijerathna. I am doing industrial automation and also house wiring.  To add some publicity to my work I thought of starting a blog on my stuff.  So here's what I do.

Under Industrial automation I do machine installation, machine modification & repairing as well as machine wiring.  These days I am engaged in a project for machine modification.  I will post the results after the project is over.

When it comes to house wiring, it's that house wiring you normally do.  Wiring the whole house or an apartment, setting up the switch boards, bulbs and all kinds of stuff you need to light up your home.
